Italian is one of the thinner categories on Amelia Island, and it is better to say so than to pad a list. There is one sit-down Italian restaurant in the historic district and two pizza shops on 14th Street, and between them they cover most of what people are actually asking for when they search for Italian food here.
If what you want is a serious pasta tasting menu, this island does not have one. If what you want is a solid plate of pasta on Centre Street or a pie to take back to a rental, all three of these work.
How this list is put together: Only places actually open as of September 2026. Fernandina has lost several Italian rooms in recent years, and old listings still show them.
